Christou Research Group Facilities

The group has five labs, four on the fourth floor where students do their research and one lab on the third floor.

Our labs are located in the third and fourth floors of the Chemistry Laboratory Building (CLB).

In addition to all of the departmental instrumentation, the group has a number of their own facilities.

We possess our own fully equipped computer room, a brand new near and mid IR (a Nicolet Nexus 670), a UV-vis spectrophotometer, a GC, two electrochemistry setups (Bass CV-50) and our most loved machine, the SQUID (Quantum design MPMS-XL). For air or moisture sensitive chemistry we have two glove boxes and solvent distillation systems. You can see some pictures of the labs and the offices at UF.
